Best Standards Singapore hires graduates from all disciplines, at all degree levels (Diploma, Bachelors, Masters& Ph.D). Ideal candidates should not only have sound academic credentials, coupled with solid, relevant work experience, where applicable.     Job Description for Technical Engineer:
  1. Responsible for executing the daily work of calibration on measurement equipment under quick turn-around (Temperature, humidity, mechanical, dimensional and electrical/electronic calibration) provided with quality service
  2. Responsible for ensuring smooth flow of equipment through the entire process chain
  3. Responsible for assisting in the upkeep of the Laboratory
  4. Responsible in the issuance of calibration and service reports
  5. Liaise with client on technical issues when necessary
  6. Maintain draft report format/templates
  7. Assist in the development and extension of new calibration scope
  8. Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
  9. Manage timely trouble shooting and assist customers as necessary
  10. Build and foster collaboration with internal teams involved in service delivery
  11. Maintain both clients and company’s equipment in good order and condition
  12. Maintain laboratory setup, procedures, calibration data and housekeeping
  13. Study and set up new calibration work procedure and scope as assigned
  14. Be provided with proper analysis training internally and externally
  15. Perform work scope under the guidelines of ISO17025
  16. Perform onsite calibration when necessary

    Job Requirements:
  1. Higher Nitec or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
  2. Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel and Word
  3. Able to interact with all levels of management
  4. Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  5. Technical knowledge and experience in related field
  6. Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously
  7. Fluent English and local language
  8. Willing to learn and explore new ideas to derive to better techniques to execute calibration

  9. Male applicants must have completed NS, Female applicants are welcome
  10. 5 days, 8:30 to 6:30, 44 hours work week
  11. We also offer Flexible Working Hours
  12. Salary range is from S$1200 to 2400 with overtime pay
  13. Periodic Bonuses are given to exemplary employees
